First thing to say: Lyon is my home city. I grew up there, went to school there, did everything there until I moved to Canada for university. 

I love Lyon, it's a big city with calm areas. It has all the advantages and none of the drawbacks of Paris. 

I'm trying to think of other things to say but living there all my life makes everything about it obvious when some of them aren't obvious for people who just visit the city.
