Val d'Isère
Val d'Isère is a famous ski resort that is located in the French Alps, to the Italian border. I have personally been going there for about 19 years. This is probably my favorite place in the world, skiing is my favorite sport, that feeling of freedom whenever I ski never leaves me. I have know Val d'Isère all my life, my heart will be attached to it for the rest of my life. I usually only went there during the winter but I recently tried it during the summer and I was nicely surprised. Locals are nicer, there aren't too many tourists, lots of activities to enjoy and if you want to get some quiet time, the forest (or even just a walk in the calmer areas) is perfect for that.
