I went to New York City for the first time in 2008, to be honest I think I was too young to really enjoy it, back then I didn't really see the point. 

I went back in 2015, so I was much older and much interested in traveling than I was back then. 

I went to the Empire State Building but was a little bit disappointed. Yes of course, you have an amazing view from the top but knowing how much it costs and the time that you have to wait (plus I went there in February so it was freezing outside, so I only spent like 30 seconds outside). I did it once, it was a nice experience but definitely not doing it again. 

I got to see the rink at the Rockefeller center, didn't ice skate there but it is on my bucket list!
